Build The Bay remodeled our bathroom and downstairs living room. Eitan came highly recommended by a neighbor who also had work completed by his company. The employees do exceptional work, being very detailed and any problems we encountered were resolved by Eitan and his team. A short time after the completion of our initial projects we decided to have Build The Bay also remodel our kitchen. The final product was more than we could have imagined. Suggestions made by Eitan and his foreman Jesus were incorporated into the project. The group of workers are very hard working and Eitan often went out of his way to obtain parts and supplies. We were overall very pleased with everything Build The Bay did and look forward to future projects with Eitan and company.

We discovered Eitan through a referral of a referral. We interviewed several contractors and Eitan was my top choice.

Eitan was the only contractor to come to my house with the plans printed on the first site visit. Every contractor says they’ve already looked the plans, but I think Eitan was the only one who actually reviewed our plans prior to visiting. He asked great questions to get an understanding of the scope and noticed minor discrepancies in the plans that I had overlooked. Honestly I was extremely impressed by his attention to detail in the planning phase and it gave me confidence that he would be just as detailed and thorough with the end product.

Eitan was also the most responsive of all the contractors we interviewed. When he says he’ll send over the bid next week, it’s actually in your inbox when he says. You don’t need to send him a reminder email following up or chase him for a reply. From our interactions, I know he runs a tight ship. If there are any bottlenecks in your home renovation, it won’t be because of Eitan or his crew.

Pricing-wise, his bid was very competitive. We ultimately decided to go with a family friend, but I sort of expect the project to go poorly and that we’ll return back to Eitan to fix the mess and see the project through completion. Hopefully he’ll still accept us as clients!!!

I originally had Eitan out to bid on our Bathrooms, but once I had him here I added the Kitchen and Laundry room as well. Our experience with Build The Bay on our bathroom remodel project was exceptional from start to finish. The scope of this project consisted of a complete remodel of 2 bathrooms at the same time. Our expectation and the general consensus with any remodel project is that it will be a very stressful experience as the inevitable hidden issues will be discovered leading to additional costs and our project was no exception. The communication with and received from Eitan and the Build The Bay team starting with the bidding process and ending with the final inspection went a long way to reducing our stress level throughout the project. The plan was clearly communicated on a daily basis and every problem encountered came with a proposed solution with an emphasis on minimal cost impact to our budget. The daily planning and communication gave us confidence in their experience and ability to manage the entire project no matter what issue came up. This was evident from the first day taking care to mask walls & floors in order to protect every potential area that could be impacted by construction collateral damage. It was also evident that the work crew had the necessary skills to complete the many varied tasks the project required including framing, sheetrock, electrical, plumbing, tile, floors, windows, texture, paint, as well as the installation of the vanities and all of the additional finishes. The Project Manager Jesus and the entire crew were considerate of our living space and all were professional and friendly throughout the process. Upon completion of the project a deep cleaning was performed and the only evidence that remains of the entire 4 week process are 2 absolutely beautiful bathrooms constructed by Build The Bay!

This is my fifth remodel in 30 years and Build the Bay is by far the best. Eitan who is the contractor/owner was a delight to work with. He is clever, pays attention to detail, answers texts that I sent immediately, and strives for perfection and always a gentleman. He took me to different places to pick out everything and I found that he has a good eye for color and design. The crew is truly the finest we have ever had working here. They arrived everyday on time and greeted us with a big smile. The work you don’t see is impeccable as is the work you do see. The crew leader/foreman is Jesus. Best company I have ever worked with. Eitan and his crew were very professional and always on time. I am so happy with my new bathrooms.

Work done: Complete remodel of two bathrooms and installation of luxury vinyl across those bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, hallway, and stairs. An ugly closet without doors also got a remodel.

This was the first time I hired a contractor to remodel my house. I had a couple of contractors assess my project but I decided to go with Build the Bay because they were willing to work with me at getting the job done while I was out of town for 6 weeks in the most efficient manner. I also felt that I could trust Build the Bay with my house while not being physically present.

The design and shopping phase was the most difficult as I had never done any of this, but Eitan provided excellent ideas and suggestions. This is the part that makes a home unique to any individual and I now understand “make your home truly yours. ”

Me and my wife where looking to remodel our kitchen and living area floors and the they were really good from the beginning to the very end the project they were very knowledgeable about the design of the kitchen and anything including great prices for the one of a kind service We are really happy with the final results and I will not think twice for my next remodeling project I highly recommend.

From the moment we met Eitan we knew we wanted to work with Build the Bay. He was the first contractor to come in and spend more than 10 minutes looking at our space. We have a tiny bathroom and wanted to figure out a way to make it more functional. Eitan went home and put together 3 renderings of how we could make it work. Shortlist process:

I met with at least 20+ contractors and finally shortlisted my top 5 based on pricing and online reviews. Build the Bay was one of them. We finalized on Build the Bay (Eitan) based on our interactions with him at some other job site. We noticed his attention to detail and work ethics and he came across as an honest man who did not make excuses but gave logical explanation for every question we asked. On top of it, in terms of pricing he was in the top3.

Workmanship:

Eitan has a great team of men. His main man, Jesus was also great to work with and has an excellent attitude.

1. Punctuality and communication – We had a whatsapp group where Eitan always communicated when his men would come for work and he would also promptly answer any questions we had for him. He pushed us to ensure we were on top of providing materials so that they would not miss the dates they had promised on delivering the project. Eventually despite some delays on our end to procure finish materials, they finished within 3 months, as committed at the start.

2. Cleanliness – We stayed at home during the entire construction, but we never had any issues. The crew always made sure they cleaned up the work area before they left.

3. Honesty – What struck us the most was the honesty towards their work. There were a couple occasions when Jesus himself informed us about certain imperfections in the quality of the work due to which he was going to redo it. Frankly I had not even noticed the issues myself. But that clearly showed how much they cared about the quality. Eitan also came across as a very honest person. There were few occasions when we only had a verbal agreement but he always remembered it and honored it.

4. Great team – On a day to day basis you interact with the team, so it is important for them to be likeable. Jesus and his men are simply the best and very jolly and knowledgeable people.

5. Eitan went out of the way with some material pick ups.

6. Eitan is very knowledgeable and was able guide us in choosing materials. Also he was patient to explain any construction related technicalities which helped us make better decisions.

7. Eitan was very accommodating with our new ideas that kept coming up throughout the project.

8. Overall quality – We are very happy with the overall quality and outcome of the project. All our friends have loved the work as well and have asked for his reference.

Eitan and his team will be our go to people without any hesitations for any future projects.

I met with Ethan in December of 2020 and we signed the contract, after I spoke to a few other contractors because he definitely had the best pricing and really good reviews. The work only started 6 months after the contract and in the meantime the raw material cost went up but Eitan did not increase the price of the contract despite including all raw materials in the contract. He uncovered a problem in plumbing while installing brand new windows, despite that there was only two week delay in the schedule. He built me my dream kitchen and all along the way advised on what would actually look nice because I did not hire an interior designer and I was doing it on my own. Build the Bay is trustworthy, clean (which was super important to us because we were living in the house through the construction) and proactive. I would totally hire them for another construction project if something should come up in the future.

Eitan was a true pleasure to work with – very communicative and well managed expectations throughout the entire process. We are very pleased with the end result and will be sure to think of him for future projects.

Eitan the owner/ contractor was professional knew what was going on at all times. He always let me know what was planned through text and phone calls when he was not on site. The workers were all great and knew what they were doing and was responsive to our needs during the time they were here. They cleaned up after themselves every night before leaving. I would hire Build the Bay again in a heartbeat!

The bathroom was a complete rehaul including removing a wall that separated shower from vanity area, installed new plumbing , electrical and recessed lighting.

Eitan knew what was needed and helped me with what we had to order before the work started, he estimated how long it would take from start to completely finished and it was right on even with having to take a day off due to us not being there one day unexpectedly.
